What in the bag?
Originally we used a cute little camo bag that was given to us in the hospital. I quickly realized that we just couldn't keep organised with that and set out to find something that would work better. Here's our new bag! I found it at Sally Beauty Supply and love the features. We added a diabetes key chain so there was no question. (open view) You can see the slots where the insulin pens, candy and ball point are. This was meant to be used for makeup brushes. Everything has it's place. This is our meter bag. It holds the meter, test strips and lancets/device. I hide a little note pad in the back pouch for taking notes. I use this quite a bit. Writing down carbs, units and what not. My secret weapon. I've purchased several of these "Ouch Pouches" and love them. They're a simple design but work well. Here I'm using it to hold two Mentos gum containers. ...
