One more week...

...before I have my next appointment with my doctor and its driving me crazy! Right now, all I need is to know that the baby is o.k. and knowing the sex wouldn't be too bad either. Sometimes I wish I had a magic wand and could make things happen... Wouldn't that be nice? Time is going too slow for my piece of mind. So if anyone out there can make this next week fly, it would be much appreciated.

Job.

I need an at home job to make some money. Any one have any ideas?

Blue

Image
This is an old picture of the girls But I love it! I'm a little blue today because it was last day I watched Kate and Kallie. I have had some problems working with the baby Kallie and it was starting to get to me. So today I told them I could not watch her any more. But of course you can't have one kid and not the other so my best little buddy had to go too. I am so sad because for the last year I have grown to love this little girl as if she was my own kine. I got all of their stuff put together and put it at the door. When it came time to leave I really had a hard time... Mainly because it was a little awkward. I didn't show my tears but once I turned around the tear came rolling. I am going to miss having Kate around. It kills me because Alana has got such a strong bond with her too. I am sad to see her go but I guess it is time for us to open a new chapter in our lives. So I guess that means I'm jobless.

Starting to get depressed

Image
I didn't think it would ever happen, but I have gotten depressed with this pregnancy. So many little things piling up is all it took. I haven't felt any attachment to this baby yet and I know that it's the core of it. I don't have any visual sign that I am pregnant other than a pregnancy test and tight clothes. Now in my 14th week and still no heart beat. So what I'm trying, to get myself excited is getting the baby's room ready... that way I can see that a baby is coming. We put the crib up last night and brought down the changing table from the attic. When I got up this morning I felt better. Slept a little better too. I also started a baby registry...in case its a boy. Looked at a few names... So we will see in the next week or so, how well it really works. Right now I think what will give me that confirmation is a heart beat or a fetal movment. The doctor set up another appointment for 9/6/07 to try again. I have noticed many things different about this one...

Daddy is home!

We are very happy to have Chris home from Costa Rica. Alana can now "Hop on Pop" instead of "baby brother or sister"...which doesn't rhyme. She acted a little hesitant at first but a few seconds later she ran to Daddy and gave him a big hug. Chris brought home lots of gifts. Some Costa Rican Coca Cola bottles, Masks, Shells, Sand, A carved box, post cards, and a purse for Noni. Oh... and a gift for the boys at church. How thoughtful. The most important thing he brought back is my husband and Alana's Daddy. He was so tiered last night that he left his wallet at home when we went out for date night. So I had to pay....I know ....Typical date. :-)

Chris is comming home Friday....

... and I couldn't be happier. Alana has taken it out on Mommy that her Daddy has left her for such a long period of time. It is very trying to sat the least. Her terrible two phase has GOT to end. She isn't listening or sleeping for that matter. We were chatting with Daddy on instant messenger the other day. I had just got done telling him how cute she was just wearing panties (we are still potty training) and a pair of Crocks. I put her on my lap and Chris turned on his web came so that Alana could see him. She got so excited that she peed her panties....ON MY LAP! I couldn't get on to her because it was so cute. It was gross. but cute. All I'm saying is that I need a break. Being pregnant has made me very emotional, Chris being gone...Well.... that hasn't helped either. For a while there we thought that Dean was going to be coming our way. We were very lucky with that one. Just the very idea of evacuating with two cats and a two year old is enough to mak...

First Doctors appointment with baby #2.

I am now 12 weeks and a couple days pregnant with baby #2. Today was my first appointment, a three hour long appointment. I was lucky my neighbor Donna watched Alana because it could have been bad. They did the usual testing, (I should hear the results in a few days) and looked for the babies heart beat. I've got to tell you... it is very hard on an emotional women to find out that there is not a heart beat. To be honest... I balled like a little girl. They have me going in two weeks from now to try again. Gosh I wish Chris was here.

First free day in Costa Rica.

Image
Chris is having a great time in Costa Rica. Today was a free day for him and he visited a few beached and had what he said were the "BEST FAJITAS HE HAS HAD HIS WHOLE LIFE" He also went on a tour of the canopies on Zip lines. Below are some pictures pf what he has done so far.

Hurricane Dean

Image
An up date on Dean. As of right now we do not know for sure what way Dean will go. There are several ways and we hope that it is no where near us. Houston and Texas has been hit with rain all summer. The ground is saturated and won't take much more. Flooding happens every time it rains and quite frankly... We are ready for the sun and to enjoy the last few days of summer. But thanks to the wonderful HIGH that is sitting over our heads and the LOW in Florida we may get totaly washed out. So PLEASE. Everyone out there. Pray for Texas. On a side note.... Why is it that in the last two years I have been pregnant during.... I don't know... Cat. 5 HURRICANES.... Whats the deal?

Costa Rica is Chris' home for the next week. His boss is an amazing man. Franklyn Chang Diaz (http://www.jsc.nasa.gov/Bios/htmlbios/chang.html) is his name and thanks to him Chris is getting the experience of a life time teaching the people of his company in Costa Rica to do machine work. Franklyn is the one person in Costa Rica that they call a National Hero. When Chris got into the Country he was picked up by Franklyn who walked him right passed customs. They say that when Frankly is "done playing with rockets" he will most likely be the President of Costa Rica. And Chris can say not only is he my boss but, I met his family and road in his car. LOL! Chris says the people of Costa Rica are simple, but good people. They are all bilingual but he says that it helps to explain things in Spanish. He says he is teaching them what he can but supplies are limited. What he has seen of the country is beautiful and he should have the next two days to explore and wonder around.(I ...

In with the in crowd.

So I have been a member of Myspace for a while. Now found that most of my friends are on blogger rather that the up beat blogging and music sharing Myspace. So to make things easier for my family who are more old fashioned and like News Letters I have decided to Make a family location on Blogger. It almost feels like a step backward. But I am sure that in time I will get used to it. So now I can say "I'm in with the in crowd"
