Sooo tierd!

The last two days have really worn me out. Not only have I had some really long shoots this week but I'm trying to get them edited before I leave for Disney World. I must be crazy! I just realized I have a huge pile of laundry to do and I haven't even started packing. Ha, I haven't even made a list of what to take for the week. So here I am, TALKING about it instead of doing. LOL! Got to love it. Any who. Check out some of the cute shots from this weekend. Here

Let the countdown begin!

T-7 days till we head off for Disney world! Alana is so excited. Today I caught her singing about what she was going to do there. Too cute! Here is my practice shot for Cinderella's Castle. I try to do this every time we go but I missed out in July. Recently I've been doing a lot of Self Portraits. It's fun since I'm not in a lot of our family pictures other than our yearly Christmas photo that I always enjoy doing. I will admit it is getting hard to do our family portrait myself. We'll see how it goes this weekend.
1. What was I doing ten years ago? I was in high school and working. I was a busy girl back then. 2. What are five things on your to do list? *Get Christmas decor out of the attic *Laundry *Call client about appointment *Take family Christmas photos *Get luggage ready for Disney World trip 3. What snacks do you enjoy? I LOVE Welches Fruit snacks! I'm also a sucker for M&M's but since I'm dieting I'll say water. LOL! 4. What would you do if you were a billionaire? Take care of my family. They've done so much for me it's the least I could do. 5. List three bad habits. *picking scabs (my worst habit) *picking off nail polish *picking off sun burns (Gosh... I'm a picky person ) 6. Places you have lived. Bakersfield, CA. Provo, UT Orem, UT Springville, UT Houston, TX League City, TX 7. I want new knees!

Image
Saturday the girls got up early. So being the wonderful wife that I am (Toot Toot) I let Chris sleep in and I took care of the girls. I made Noni breakfast and changed Ariana. Long story short...I change Ariana on the floor and when I went to stand up my knee bent backwards thus giving me a nice hyperextended knee. Lovely right? We this just ruined my whole weekend. I had all these plans to run and work on some stuff around the house. So Saturday and Sunday were spent watching chick flicks and staying off the blasted leg. (actually it wasn't' all that bad. Just a pain.) Today, however I'm able to walk much better. It still hurts but I'm not hobbling as much. Chris was so worried this would ruin things for Disney World, but think I'm going to be back in shape in no time!

Alana and Sofi

Image
Alana loves it when Sofi comes over. When I told her that she would be here all day she jumped up and down and said. "Woo Hoo, my breast friend Sofi is coming over! Yeaaaaaahhh" It was too cute! I took them out on today and everyone was telling me how cute my twins were. LOL. They are only two days apart. Carly and I are too. Funny! Anyways, We had such a fun time as we always do. After lunch Sofi asked me when were going to take pictures. Pore kid, she automatically thinks were are going to take pictures where ever we go.Who could resist? She's a doll! So at Sofi's request we took pictures.

I'm back in the saddel again.

Yep. I'm back to the trusty ol' Diet. So far so good. I eat a light breakfast, as I always have. Usually a granola bar. Lunch is my big meal. I make what I would normally have for dinner just watching the calories. Then soup and a slice of bread for dinner. It's not a hard diet for me to do. And i had lost 60 pounds doing this until I got prego with Ariana. This time I'm working out. I got a new pair of Puma Trainers (pictured above) and a jogging stroller. I LOVE IT! Chris and I walk 3+ miles with the girls every night and I also jog a few times a week. My goal is to lose 60 again. Lets see how long it takes. Wish me luck!

I want "CANNY" Mommy!

Image
We had a fun time trick or treating this year. We stayed in our neighborhood and robed them of their candy. (Chris being goofy... That mustache fell off before we even made it out the door. :( ) Alana "Held Up" most of the neighborhood, threatening them that she would shoot them if they didn't give her their candy. She then would flash her baby blues at them and they would give her two heaping hands full of candy. I laughed every time. Girls were tierd when we got home but all Alana could think about was her CANDY! MMmmm... Yes, full sized candy bars. She also got bubbles, play dough and a rubber lizard. Ariana got a stuffed octopus. Now her favorite toy. We call it Ocie.

OH... MY... GOSH!

I was just hanging out here in the office when I herd a HUGE plane flying over head. The sound was like a plane getting ready to crash, and it was headed right for us. I ran out side and this enormous plane was right over head, and not that far up. It's traveling extremely slow. Wow. My heart is racing. Then it made a very sharp turn about a mile away like it was going to land on the road. I tried watching it as long as I could but I lost it. Gosh. I hope everything is alright.

Phases of Grief...

Well, Last night as you may have read by now was the beginning of the phases of grief. When I heard the news I was in the first stage... shock. Denial follows quickly, crying "I don't believe it," or "It can't be." (yes, I teared up a bit) Bargaining, is that maybe I can wake up and find that it isn't so. I'll do all the right things if only...." (I was SSSOoooo There) Anger is another big factor which seems to be necessary in order to face the reality of life and then to get beyond it. We must all heal in our own ways. Anger is a natural stage through which we must pass. (This is where I was last night when I wrote my blog post. I hope I did not offend.) Depression is a stage of grief that comes and goes. Knowing this, be prepared to give yourself time to heal. Resignation is a late stage. It comes when finally you accept the truth. Acceptance and hope! Understand that it will never be the same. This is where I am now.

Speechless...

Tonight was a landmark in our country's history. However, I'm not happy about the out come of this election. Sorry... I can not find the words to say. Disappointment is all that comes to mind. We have failed our children in electing Obama. We can kiss the land of the "free and the home of the brave" bye bye. The all important "Pledge of Allegiance" will be gone, as well as "In God We Trust" (I know it was already headed out... What have we come too?) We may as well have signed our rights to be free away when we put that check on our ballots. Patriotism is lost! MTV you have failed us. I pray that we get through these four years, when then we can get the RIGHT man (or woman) in the oval office. Until then, my hope is that someone can kick this guy in the butt and make him put his hand over his heart. CAUSE THIS IS AMERICA DANG IT... GIVE OUR FLAG THE RESPECT SHE DESERVES! I hope I wake up from this dream to find out Mitt Romney is the new Comm...
